Quaker Earthcare Witness (QEW) is bringing together changemakers of African descent who are working on the issue of water.
The African Diaspora Earthcare Coalition, convened by QEW, is working to ensure reliable, clean, and affordable water against a backdrop of climate change and resource depletion. The work underscores the need for people of African descent to define, own, and manage their own food, water, and agriculture systems.
The Coalition will gather in person for a special meeting with other movement leaders on 11 July 2018 at the Salvation Army International Social Justice Commission, 221 E 52nd St, New York, NY 10022.
